  9. If Portland were to trade Sharpe and the #3 pick to Toronto for a one year rental of Siakam I’m done with basketball. That would be an absolute fleecing. I’d trade Dame before I trade Sharpe.

  13. I’d rather have Sharpe than the pick. He’s clearly a high level SG, local and would make for an exciting back-court with AnT but Scottie is the point forward. You then keep OG, re-sign Yak make the pick at 13 and roll it back with Precious, Slim duck off the bench.

  14. Raptors fans, Siakam is an expiring. 3rd and Anfernee is a great deal. Stop thinking you need to fleece every team to “win” a trade. If you wanna go pay Siakam next year, go for it. Blazers aren’t giving away sharpe.

    So these leaks come from Portland or dames agent or pascals agent.

    – it was public early that Portland would make simons and 3 available

    – later they said publicly they didn’t want to trade sharpe

    – then they said they want multiple veterans

    – now it’s expressly pascal they are after

    All of this point to Masai being in the driver’s seat, imo. Presumably, he wants sharpe. Portland is desperately trying to gin up some competition. It doesn’t seem to be working.

    If he wants scoot, then there’s no deal until Charlotte picks Miller. So don’t be impatient.

    I’m hoping Masai wins this one and lands sharpe and scoot. We’ll see.

  21. Would be unreal If this happens . Scottie , Scoot and OG on decent contracts and still have cap space for 2 max players either now or after next year
