  1. Can’t believe Boone has shown the most emotion in his yankees tenure on an episode of talkin yanks.

  2. Honestly, the scariest thing I hear from all the high level people in this organization, whether it be Boone, or Cashman, is that there’s a focus on the process over the results. First, that seems illogical from the perspective that the “goal” here is a very tangible thing. Your success as a baseball team is defined by your results and how many wins you have, and over a 162 game season the results will determine who had the best process.

Second, and to that end, getting so stuck in your process, and being so sure you’re doing things the right way seems like a bad way to manage a baseball team. I have to imagine that the reason teams like the Braves, Rays, Dodgers, and Astros have had so much success over the last decade compared to us is not because they use analytics, but because they are constantly *adapting* their analytics to find edges and market efficiencies that we don’t try to integrate for years after these teams because we get stuck in this “our way is the right way” bullshit.

  3. Same team for years and we’re just supposed to keep waiting for it to magically be different. Gas lighting front office can fuck off with that nonsense at this point

  4. At the risk of sounding like one myself, Boone sounded like a whiny little bitch boy through parts of this for sure.

Part of it is “what is he supposed to say” but idk, still never feels like there’s any accountability whatsoever from the top on down.

  5. No we need to fire you and Cashman and move on with people who aren’t asleep at the wheel.

  6. I’m thinking Cashman is going to make Boone jobless because that patience is wearing thin.

  7. Those questions at the end were the real meat of it, but they hesitated because of Boone earlier in the interview. You can’t ask a hard hitting question and back down at first response. You gotta drive it home.

  8. I mean, AC Milan isn’t playing anymore, and Randy Levine has some ownership in them.

Why doesn’t Boone simply swap Zlatan or Maignan for Donaldson and Abreu? Ibra can probably figure out 3B give or take.

  9. 14 years in a row for failing? And this buffoon needs more patience? You can’t make this stuff up. Should have never been hired.

  10. I have a dumb question/scenerio kinda related…

If Boone gets fired does Jomboy Media get the next manager every Tuesday?

Or is their deal with Boone specifically and not the “Yankee manager”?

If it’s a Boone specific deal do they get some of the money back/not have to fulfill the contract?

Or maybe Boone just stays on and still pops in every Tuesday?

    lol IDK

  11. Been patient for 14 years!! But also, just that one world series appearance in 20 years does not cut it for Yankee fans!!!

  12. okay thank you mr boone i will be patient thank you for the advice okay bye bye love you goodnight

  13. “You just have to wait until hell freezes over,” said Boone, with Brian Cashman’s hand up his ass.

  14. Boone not calling out the bone headed baserunning by Rizzo and Donaldson is all you need to hear. “They are doing something though!” Wtf does that mean? Rizzo constantly trying to “do something” is actually costing the team runs so maybe this “something” needs to stop.

  15. IM TIRED OF BEING PATIENT. IM TIRED OF THIS TEAM NOT CHANGING YEAR OVER YEAR. AT SOME POINT YOU GOTTA TAKE THE NEXT STEP
