  1. Tied for longest Reds win streak since winning 12 in a row in 1957.

So what was unique about that 12-game winning streak in 1957?

Every single win was on the road.

  2. would be dope if we went out and got somebody like giolito or bieber at the deadline

  3. Lol the crowd at the post-game area spooked them enough to pull out the legitimate headsets. Last night was just an earpiece and they couldn’t hear shit. Well prepared for #10!

  4. #FOR THE FIFTH DAY, AND SECOND CONSECUTIVE, THE REDS LEAD THE NATIONAL LEAGUE CENTRAL!

  5. Comrades we must continue to spread Reds Propaganda until the whole country is Redlegs. This is what Comrade Votto meant by “our culture”.

  6. My heart rate was up after he walked Moose. Can’t believe I’m witnessing this! Love this team

  7. I love how the postgame show is wearing overear headphones tonight cause they couldn’t hear each other the last few games due to the rowdiness

  8. Wouldn’t mind seeing the Reds bring up Lyon Richardson from AA. Screw it, he’s on the 40 man already. Last pitched June 17th so he would be a fresh arm for the upcoming series. Former 2nd round pick. He’s looked good all season. We got Weaver scheduled Friday and I’m guessing Ashcraft comes back on Saturday. We could bump Weaver off Friday and debut Richardson. Lively would be finishing it on Sunday.

More notes about Richardson. He had TJ in August 2021 and missed all of 2022 until instructional league over a year after his injury. He was 92-96mph pre-injury and is now throwing up to 99 mph. He’s been limited innings this year in AA as well, never going above 4 innings but his pitch count hasn’t been so high that he couldn’t go further. He has had a solid 1.5 years recovering and strengthening his arm. I think he’s ready to be honest. We could take a look at Connor Phillips but I’d rather bring Richardson up first.

  9. I love Jim Day. He was so emotional. I wish I lived in Cincinnati to be a bigger part of what’s going on there.

  10. I’ve been a Reds fan all my life, I’ve never been spoiled by this team, but holy shit is it just awesome when the Reds get fired up. The city comes to life and it’s just great for the team, the fans and all of Cincinnati.

  11. Every one of these players would probably say there isn’t any extra pressure going for the 10th in a row, that it’s just another game etc…

They’re lying, that shit matters to competitors. This was a big pressure game and they answered the bell big time. It got dicey late and they gutted it out yet again.

This group has “it”. They got the stuff.

  12. You know, we should also be scoreboard watching the Dodgers too, because if the Brewers jump to first (I know, perish the thought), the Dodgers are currently only one game ahead of the Reds for the final wild card.

Yes, scoreboard watching the *Dodgers*. Unheard of.

  13. Now solidly in contention for a wild card spot as well in a worst case scenario.

  14. Love this 10 game streak and taking advantage of a couple bad teams in the royals and Rockies. Big test coming up this weekend against the braves then the Orioles directly after.

  15. Tuesday home attendance:

    APR 4: 13,399

    APR 18: 11,304

    APR 25: 9,969

    MAY 9: 14,065

    MAY 23: 14,159

JUN 6: 22,602 (EDLC first game)

    # JUN 20: 28,291

Just a summer increase? Well, last year, outside the home opener, the Tuesday high was a mere 18,476 on June 21 against the mighty Dodgers. Tonight the Reds pulled in 53% more people than that, playing against the lowly Rockies.

  16. I was pretty blown away when Bally Sports made its rights payment for the Reds in May but let San Diego go. They’re struggling financially…and they decide that losing the right to broadcast our games is just an unacceptable risk…but Padres games? Not important enough, so they let it go.

    I guess they knew something I didn’t.

  17. It was all worth it for this young core. Have the brightest days ahead and there’s no dead end this time. Incredible
