10000%. He’s a perfect fit for this roster as presently constructed. A Ja, Bane, PG, JJJ, Adams lineup has virtually no holes.
Blazers Rockets would be terrible fits for PG
In addition to being a great fit, PG has said that Stevo is one of his all time best teammates

A starting 5 of Ja-Bane-PG-Jaren-Stevo with Luke Kennard as the 6th man would be by far the best Grizzlies roster ever assembled.

I’d love this and do the deal in a second, but only if George was actually on board and happy about it. He’s got a player option coming up after the coming season, if I’m reading it correctly. I wouldn’t necessarily even need him to give strong assurances of what he’d do—as long as he was at least excited about the possibility that it could be a good fit. Otherwise, the most likely outcome is that he and the team make each other miserable for a year, and then the Grizzlies are just left with fewer draft picks.
I would do Jones, Clarke, Williams + every pick we have for PG.
