The cards probably represent the team roster before the 1994 off-season.
Some remarks:
– Chris Webber, 93 draft 1st pick, opted out as restricted free agent before the 94-95 season as he disliked Don Nelson. He was traded to Bullets for Tom Gugliotta; Gugliotta was later traded for Donyell Marshall mid-season. It was very sad that the highly anticipated trio of Webber, Tim Hardaway and Latrell Sprewell didn’t even play together (Tim Hardaway was injured in 93-94 full season). This young team was highly popular at the time.
– Billy Owens was traded to Heat for Rony Seikaly. Warriors also obtained Carlos Roger and Ricky Pierce in the offseason.
– Avery Johnson left as free agent to Spurs

This was gonna be our year!!! Little did I know that it would be the precipice of one of the worst stretches of basketball the league has ever witnessed by one franchise.
