The NHL 23 World Championship makes its triumphant in-person return to the World stage next week in Nashville after taking a three-year hiatus due to travel restrictions caused by the global pandemic. The NHL’s signature esports event is one of several major events that will be hosted by the State of Tennessee as the NHL also takes over the City of Nashville for the 2023 NHL Awards™ and 2023 Upper Deck NHL Draft.
To open a week of NHL activities, country music superstar Dierks Bentley will host the 2023 NHL Awards™, broadcast live from Bridgestone Arena on Monday, June 26, at 8 p.m. ET (TNT, Sportsnet, TVAS). The EA SPORTS NHL 23 World Championship will follow on Tuesday, June 27, beginning at 1 p.m. ET. The 2023 Upper Deck NHL Draft will then take place beginning with Round 1 on Wednesday, June 28, at 7 p.m. ET (ESPN, Sportsnet, TVAS) and capped by Rounds 2-7 on Thursday, June 29, starting at 11 a.m. ET (NHL Network, Sportsnet, TVAS)
