  1. More immediate help for jokic, gotta extend the championship window with cheap talent to develop

  2. Who the hell do they want so badly?

And also am I an idiot or do the Pacers get nothing out of this deal lol

  3. That’s really nice for Denver. Chance to hit on 2 low cost players which could be helpful in the next few years as the team becomes very very expensive

  4. Denver Nuggets have been extremely consistent in trying to trade into this draft. Makes you wonder what prospect they have their eyes set on so intensely

  5. This is how you roster construct. For a team that will be spending a bit now and wants to keep a championship core intact, you need rookie scale contracts to keep getting by

  6. Really curious who they’re targeting that deep in the draft that they weren’t confident in getting at 40

  7. ITT people don’t understand pacers have a ton of picks in This draft. You’re not drafting 5 rookies lol

  8. Andre Jackson to take Braun’s spot in rotation who takes Brown’s spot in rotation.

  9. I like it. Get a 1st-rounder on a more team-friendly rookie contract than some 2nd-rounders.

  10. It’s been known Denver wanted back into the first round for this draft for a while now, and with Bruce Brown likely to get some offers they have to plan for the worst. Pacers clear the logjam of picks they had at the end of the first round. Seems like a solid win/win

  11. Some people here have the misinformation that the Nuggets can’t trade their own pick next year because they owe one to the Magic in 2025, thats not true since the Nuggets had guaranteed two FRP’s in next year’s draft, so they were allowed to trade whichever one of the two that they wanted.

The Stepien rule states that a team has to have a guaranteed FRP each other year, but not that it has be the own teams FRP.

  12. Everyone in the thread is wrong about the pick the Pacers got. We are receiving the worst of the Thunder/Clippers/Jazz/Rockets pick, the Nuggets own pick is not involved. Tony East has the terms on Twitter. Actually like this for us now.

  13. Nuggets at the draft : “AIGHT which one of yall jump as high as Bruce Brown”

  14. Clarification: Pacers get the worst of OKC and Clippers 2024 picks. This is the pick that Nuggets recently traded OKC for. So this very well could be the 15-20th pick next year.

  15. Great move for Denver, best possible way to add new rotation talent to a title team with the new CBA coming into place.

  16. Great move. Vecenie has players 17-37 in the same tier this year, so there should be quality older players (read – don’t need much development and might be in the rotation) available for the Nuggets to select at 29 and 32.

  17. Really looking forward to seeing how Nuggets improve their roster this off season.
