  1. I can’t wrap my head around Michael Jordan not falling in love with Scoots work ethic

  2. Has this guy said the right thing at any point during the process when it wasn’t written down for him by an attorney?

  3. I get less confident in his ability to come in a be an impact player every time I hear him talk

  4. Nothing makes less sense than drafting a guy who mailed it in during his first workout when you have a guy with an incredible workout and higher ceiling as your other option.

  5. I just… Aside from playing, Scoot is being mentored by Curry, is already a leader/giving back in his hometown, helped raise a younger sibling, has charisma, and seems highly dedicated and driven.

Not saying Miller is lazy or anything, but he doesn’t scream “face of a franchise”. To me he says “talented baller who is very much his age and has demonstrated lack of judgement, and may or may not be committed to putting in the extra work to reach his ceiling”.

I don’t get how you don’t take Scoot, regardless of the current trend of running offense through versatile forwards.

  6. Did you guys watch the video? Brandon Miller just said Jordan told him nothing will be given and he has to earn everything. That’s not a red flag at all lmao

  7. No way MJ picks Miller when Miller leaks at the beginning of this video “[MJ] airballed a freethrow”

  8. I can tell most people in this thread didn’t actually watch the video because it’s a pretty routine response. People are interpreting this as “MJ is saying his work ethic is bad” when he’s quoted saying “if you’re not going to work, it won’t be given to you” which is pretty standard, you get out what you put in advice that MJ probably told to Scoot.

  9. Bust mentality red flags 🚩 everywhere come on Charlotte I’d rather y’all trade down and get Zion and pick up UConn’s Hawkins

  10. Please tell me 2 ball dominant guards that made it to a championship level team for all the people wanting Scoot. You want to choose between Melo and Scoot in a year? Miller fits with the team. They want to play him at the 2G where he will thrive off the ball.
