  1. For a while, I saw them as “good cop / bad cop,” but after a bit more thinking, neither of them are really playing any “bad cop” roles. Both seem to have oxy moron personalities: Sirianni is a “serious goofball,” and Hurts is “quietly boistrous.”

  2. I think he is the biggest believer in Jalen and what he can do. Reminds me of those videos of Steve Ker coaching Stephen Curry and giving him all this positive reinforcement and encouragement.

  3. Sometimes I have to remind myself that Sirianni never drafted Hurts and he was simply handed down from the previous regime. But even with that, these two feel almost inseparable… as a father/son kind of relationship where Sirianni comes across as that overly zealous father who adores his son then Jalen comes across as the poised son who’s always looked to his father for guidance. The balance they bring to one another reminds me of several Hall of Fame comparisons and hopefully they fill those shoes over the coming years 👏🏼

  4. The fact that Hurts is such a leader and knows what needs to be done that makes it a lot easier on Nick imo. Top tier as far as last season goes.

Side note : Nick needs to stop with the getting excited and doing head motions and shit before the game is even over, like when Hurts stopped him during the SB.

  5. So far, so good. But we’re winning right now. We lose 8 games this years and we’ll all blame them

  6. Both growing, both extremely dedicated and passionate. Neither in their prime just yet but when they do…

  7. Fire and Ice.

Sirianni the fire because he’s more outspoken and emotional than most coaches.

Jalen is ice because he’s so calm, cool and collected for his age especially given the ups and downs of his career so far.

  8. The chimney sweep from Mary Poppins mentors Bruce Wayne with living parents.
