  1. Jon Heyman the only one with balls asking Boone if Stanton is hurt and why does he keep hitting 3rd or 4th. None of the reporters have a spine.

  2. Fire Cashman

    Fire Boone

Firstly, fire the NY media. Quite fucking pussies

  3. There is no accountability whatsoever. Hal said it the other day and now that I can’t get it out of my head it makes sense.

Boone has already accepted that the players are putting their best out on the field and does not challenge them to be better than they currently are. Not a single player has had their status quo challenged and until they do, this team is doomed for an unending hell of wild card appearances.

  4. I saw an article in the post a few days ago that interviewed scouts who were familiar with Volpe in the minors. They said his swing is unrecognizable now compared to the contact swing he had before. More of an uphill swing to generate more homeruns, but he was never that hitter in the minors. More of singles, doubles hitter with fewer k’s. Reading the article just made me wonder if watching this team is even worth it while Cashman is still in charge.

We will forever be a team that beats up on lesser pitching with homeruns only to go cold in the post season when we face more quality pitching. It’s also just a sad state of affairs on this sub where we can’t even celebrate any regular season success because we know we’re just heading into post season disappointment.

I was a huge Knicks fan and I had to tap out for a few years because I knew nothing would change unless we got a better front office. I am about to to do the same with the Yankees.

Here’s the article for anyone interested: https://nypost.com/2023/06/20/scouts-have-big-concerns-about-anthony-volpes-yankees-swing/

  5. A player can only keep getting injured so many times before it starts impeding their abilities permanently, so who knows if someone like Stanton turns it back around

  6. Guys we’re just overreacting it’s June it’s not that serious
    – The dumbass owner

  7. Where the Yankees offense ranks since Judge went down

    AVG: .196 (30th)
    OBP: .258 (30th)
    SLG: .353 (27th)
    wRC+: 68 (30th)
    fWAR: -0.4 (30th)

Terrible roster construction and god awful lineup with the resources available.

  8. I mean it’s not Boone’s fault that this roster can’t hit and can’t win without hitting a home run. The moves were pretty solid tonight. I wouldn’t have pinch hit for McKinney but he’s gotta work with what he has.

That being said he has to go along with Cashman. Just bring in a new mentality every game is the same

  9. This one was a real heartbreaker. Never thought our pitching would hold an offensive team like Texas to only 2 runs through 9 innings, but our offense needed to take advantage of this

  10. Call me crazy but I tend to think scoring 2-3 runs a night (judge-less, or not) doesn’t exactly project well to playoff series when you face strictly great pitching and horrible matchups.

  11. IKF is an infielder playing OF, Bader literally missed a month, needing today off is the usual blunder and complacency by this organziation

  12. When that dead-eyed, patronizing, failson of an owner wants to go on the radio and wonder why everyone’s “upset” – show him a Josh Donaldson at-bat.

  13. In a vacuum, this is our roster construction at the moment:
    – Two light hitting, glove-first third basemen
    – Two light hitting, glove-first catchers
    – Two light hitting utility players, who are almost exclusively used as backup outfielders
    – A light hitting DH who can’t play the field
    – A light hitting shortstop with an ok glove
    – A first basemen who can hit a little bit but is forced into playing a poor outfield
    – A 2nd Basemen who is mediocre at pretty much everything

Obviously some of this was hyperbole, but this is where we have been at the last several weeks. This roster just isn’t good enough and needs a big overhaul.
Rizzo, Bader, and McKinney are the only 3 players where you actually feel good about where they are at the moment.

  14. Is it possible the A’s sweep this team next week?? I legitimately think they’ll win 2 of 3 against this shit team.

  15. So remind me again: I’m a prick for only staying to the 8th to boo IKF (and Boone) his next time up after seeing possibly the dumbest play I’ve seen in person, and missing out on possibly the second dumbest thing when Boone pinch-hit Donaldson for McKinney.

Dunno how I’m supposed to care about the Yankees when Hal clearly doesn’t give a shit, not with Cash and Boone still there.

    >“Hal operates the Yankees like a top Broadway show,” the agent said. “They charge top ticket prices and put the biggest and best stars on the stage. With that said, the show’s primary purpose is to turn a significant profit. If the Broadway show happens to win a Tony for Best Show, all the better.”

  16. I’m like 100% sure the yanks will get Ohtani and still suck donkey balls because of major boneheads running the team. And watch him start to have major injuries as well.

  17. I got nothing but respect for IKF man. Taking absolute blame for this loss. Baboonery scum ass would never

  18. this game isnt on ikf he got two hits tonight, how about the other players aka stanton and donaldson and dj taking some responsibility for their light hitting

  19. Saw a lot of technical progress in donaldson’s at bat – another 1000 swings and I think he may hit 200

  20. Next time you talk to the nutless wonder named Hal, tell him this —

You gave Cashman full autonomy over the minor leagues with his new extension at the end of the 2011 season, giving Cashman exclusive authority over the scouting and the player development.

Twelve years have passed since then. What has emerged from the Cashman minor leagues? Judge, and who? Did Cashman produce strength up the middle? Where is the solid catcher? The shortstop? The center fielder? Where is the top of the rotation starter? The flame throwing reliever? The lock down closer? Where is the table-setting lead off hitter with a great eye, good speed, and can slap the ball to all fields?

The Cashman minor leagues has produced none of that. To compensate for that failure, Cashman has had to overpay to buy mercenaries. That is why the payroll is absurdly high. By definition, mercenaries are here for the money, not because they feel a sense of obligation to the organization that gave them their opportunity in the bigs, not because the organization is in their heart and soul. And because their hearts are not in it, mercenaries will shut down when the one homegrown player is not in the lineup.

This entire mess, the ENTIRE mess, can be traced back to one man and one man alone. This shit show is written and directed by Brian Cashman. There has never been a gm in any sport who has done less with more resources than Brian Cashman. He absolutely must go.

  21. You want to know what a world series team looks like? Kevin Cash benched their best player Franco for 2 games because of being a shit teammate. They hold their players accountable. Something this manager doesn’t do.

  22. If you’re’re mad that Boone PH the last guy on the bench for a lefty against a guy who murders lefties then you’re lost in the trees and right where Cashman wants you to be.

  23. The team needs to lose A LOT more to force changes.

Even then I’m not sure it’s going to happen.

Hal doesn’t seem the type to do much of anything even if the Yankees finish under 500 and miss the playoffs.

    Rotten org top to bottom.

  24. In 42 PA the NYY are PHing .222/.333/.277.

    6 walks, 6 singles, 2 doubles, 10 Ks.

    JD in 3 PAs is .000/.333/.000. 1 walk, 1 K.

    Make that .000/.250/.000 1BB 2K.
