2023 (Las Vegas) The Benevolent Association of Hockey Gods held an emergency meeting late Thursday to vote on a controversial measure to lift the Imagine Dragons Curse on the Vegas Golden Knights.
In an official statement, the BAHG reported: “After much debate and deliberation, a near unanimous lifting of this curse was decided. In retrospect the Gods may have been premature in applying this curse and the Association is conducting a thorough review of their Curse Application Criteria to insure that a spurious curse is never inflicted in the future.”
The Association was responding to significant pressure from many Vegas Golden Knights fans who reported that the unexpected and brilliantly performed Imagine Dragons piece was a life changing event for them and held the Dragons harmless for any of the results thereafter.
The Curse has been immediately lifted and is hereby stricken from the “Realm of Curses” according to the Hockey Gods Declaration.
