[Park] Byron Buxton has worn a back wrap most of season. Rocco confirmed it’s an ongoing issue. They’ll wait & see. “He tried to swing & see if he could stay in the game. He wasn’t going to be able to stay in. … He seems to already be feeling a little bit better right now.”

  1. Just a tragic career no matter what happens going forward. Him and baseball have been robbed of a Hall of Fame career. It fuckin sucks.

  2. We should’ve kept Luis Arraez, and let Buxton go. It’s just frustrating to keep putting your hopes into a guy wishing he can stay healthy. It’s bad enough we’re not allowed to use his defense but now we have to continue to waste a roster spot. I’m truly done with Byron.

  3. I feel like there’s a good chance that this is the reason for Buxton’s lower numbers this year. It would explain why some days he can’t hit anything and others he’s crushing the ball

  4. Ongoing knee issue, ongoing back issue. Can we just be done? Trade him for someone that can play more than 40% of the year.

  5. This makes it clear. We need another major piece to seal this up. If Buxton is a question mark Falvine needs to figure something out. They’ve got one month to do so before the wheels come off.

  6. This reminds me of Andrew Luck. Nice guy, HOF, generational talent beleaguered by injuries.

    Ugh. Hurts.
