[Dane Moore] I ran into Naz Reid at the airport a couple months ago and asking about his free agency he said, “let me ask you, what will fans think if I leave?” — seeming legit torn about the idea of letting them down.

Money was always going to be the biggest factor. But he wants to be here”

“A fan helped him put his luggage up top — because he had a broken wrist — and took a selfie. Naz looked up over the seat and smiled at me.

Not gonna lie, that changed my mind from “he’s gone” to “hmm, maybe he will stay””

This might be one of the most wholesome Wolves-related things I’ve ever seen.

  2. The 11th day of every month will be observed as “Naz Reid day” Retire his number. Give him a banner. re-name the arena.

  3. Man while i woulda been super sad to see him go i hope he still got one of the best deals possible even if he left. So glad this absolute stud is back with us

  4. I don’t think a single person in Minnesota would have blamed him at all for chasing more money, but I’m absolutely elated he stayed. Love this man.

  5. Everyone get in here! This needs to be the top upvoted post in r/Timberwolves history!

  6. Wow that means a lot knowing that our history with free agency usually doesn’t really give us any edge (big market, warmer destinations, etc)
