I know people don’t want him but he would genuinely be a good fit
Rockets will offer like 15 million, he’s not coming here
Man I do like Brooks as a player for that money. His kind of absurd confidence and his belief that he should have a bigger role on offense aren’t great.
I just wish he was like an inch taller. I don’t love the idea of him playing up a position as a 4.
If he will take an MLE deal I honestly would be ok with it. He’s an all defensive wing. You’re not finding that anywhere else. Would probably prefer Brown or Grant Williams though.

What are the chances he’s humbled by the end of his Grizzlies tenure and matures a bit after it?
12 mil ain’t bad. His defense is disruptive. His shooting is hot or cold, mostly cold, but you would probably be playing him over THJ if they are both cold.
I’d go for him over Williams.
Dude is a loser. I would root for him ofc but i dont want him. Hope we shed some salary and add Bates Diop and Williams.
Bruce Brown is a better option. Not sure we can get him but if all things are equal… Brown gets that money offered WAY before Brooks.

Is it possible for the Mavs to get two of Brooks, Grant, Barnes, and Bruce Brown?
Looks like the Mavs have plenty of options when it comes to adding a wing. I really hope we can get an upgrade there at the start of the season. Between Brown, Williams, now Brooks, even Barnes (probably), we should get one of them at the end.

He’s a good player but his offensive production and his antics are not really worth a full MLE
