The deal is probably he’ll join and than they will try to find a trade partner for him.
The guy just doesn’t want to be in Philly. That’s why they have NMCs and he’s exercising his NMC, nothing wrong with that.

It being philly puts the cherry on top but I just don’t think he wanted to uproot his family or be away from his family. Pretty sure he just had a baby recently
Jonesy today on the WIP morning show: “The part [of the job] that I’ve not enjoyed is the number of people I’m really close wtih that I had to tell, ‘I don’t have a job for you.’ ”
Personally I have no problem with the Flyers hiring ex-Flyers. Every team in the NHL does it, as do teams in other sports. Just gotta hire the right guys. For one, I think LeClair will do a great job in player development.
