The flaw here is the data is assuming the lefty with an ERA of 8 is a *bad* thing for the Mets.

A LHP with an 8 ERA is starting for the Mets and Julio Teheran is starting for us. All 3 things causes our offense to suck. Bold for the app to give us 91% chance.

I am guessing that the “data” also suggesred the Verlander vs Rea pitching matchup favored the Mets last night too. 😀

Looking back on our April series, we won by 1, 9, and 10. We got the win by 1 last night, now we just have to win by 9 and 10 for two of these next three.
