  1. I couldn’t imagine how bad the traffic would be. It’s already bad when all the cars try to merge near Emeryville.

  2. Maybe I’m the outlier here, but I couldn’t give 2 craps about how a stadium looks outside. “Oh, look how amazing AT&T Park (or whatever they’re calling it now) looks from this drone camera angle!” Who cares? That park is a nightmare getting to and from a game (in my opinion, anyway).

Give me easy access to the stadium. If I’m driving, get me close to the freeway, or at least an easy way to get to the PARKING LOT! Oh…. no parking lot….. ok. Also, there’s tons of traffic that makes it impossible to get to the bay Bridge in less than an hour after the game (i might be exaggerating a little). Make it a short walk from Bart, then? Nope. Ok, well, I guess I could get sardine canned into a bus or train and get there eventually…. that just sucks.

Give a nice stadium on the inside, in a convenient location any day! That’s what’s going to get me to pay $100+ a ticket to go see my team.

  3. What do you think China Basin was before the Giants built Pac Bell there. (Hint: it was a sketchy rundown warehouse district)
