[Mercogliano] I’ve had a few people ask about this. Fact is, because the NYR have traded 19 total picks since Drury took over in 2021, they don’t have much ammo to move up. Here’s what is more likely: A trade down from 23 to stockpile more picks, especially if prospects they like are falling

1. Just more of that great GM work by Drury. Actively made the roster worse the past 2 years overall AND traded away 19 picks, including 3 first rounders

6. What really sucks is this years draft seems very very deep with the entire top 20 potential picks looking like very good prospects. Some drafts are very very shallow but this one looks great and a we will be on the outside looking in
