Really hoping this guy can turn it around. No doubt he feels the pressure. The 5 HRs in June are promising, but would love to see him break out of this slump, and return back to the way he looked in May/early June.
He was walking/hitting pretty well in that time period (minus the power), so if he can get back to that level of vision and contact and continue with the power he found in June, we could be in for a fun last half of the season.
I know he catches a lot of flak on here, but I’m a huge fan of the guy, and really think that he can be our star 1B of the future. Here’s to better days moving forward.

He’s had too many good at bats and hard hits for me to think he will be a bust but I also now doubt he will be a star.
Doesn’t exactly inspire confidence- ‘Keeping at it and trusting the process’, ‘Just doing my job’? I get it’s just a little interview but like… what are you actually keeping at to improve
Not concerned about Tork. He’s making strong improvements that I think he’ll continue to make.
He’s improved from last year, and y’all gotta remember that this man got basically no minor league PA’s, like the ones JHM and Keith are getting right now. Everyone’s road to development is different, just gotta stay patient
