[Gleeman] #MNTwins are 23-30 since May 1, the third-worst record in the American League after the Royals and A’s. During that period, the Twins’ pitching staff has allowed the league’s third-fewest runs per game. And the Twins’ lineup has scored the league’s second-fewest runs per game.

  1. Has a first-place team ever *not* have a position player as an All-Star? (I know there’s a good chance that the Twins won’t be in first place by the break, but still)

  2. Can you imagine where this team would have been over the last couple of decades if they didn’t play in the worst division in baseball?

  3. This team is broken. Hopefully falvine don’t buy at the deadline. Not saying they should sell, but just let this play out and then make moves in the off season.

  4. This is year 7 of Falvey and Levine.

The team has had some good years, and they’ve made some good moves, but it’s not crazy to think their seats should be getting a bit warm.

  5. I’m surprised it’s the second fewest runs. It has felt like one of the worst in that regard I’ve ever seen.

I guess we have a few Joe Ryan run support games to keep us out of last place there lol.

  6. It’s a depressing time to be a Twins fan. For years, our biggest issue was the lack of consistent pitching that dug massive holes for our offense to have to try and dig itself out of, now the offense itself is the one with the shovel digging the hole for the pitching.
