Is anyone else getting SERIOUSLY anxious about Trout? We need him to be the cornerstone of our offense for the next several years, and…idk man. Every time he has a good game and I think “there it is! He’s breaking out!” he follows it up by going ice cold the next few games. Like, earlier this month he went 1-4, 2-4, and then 2-3 in consecutive games (with a home run in that last one). Then he went 0-7 with one walk over his next two games. Just recently, he went 1-4 and then 3-3, homering in each game. Then he’s put back on ice, going 0-6 in the next two games with again just one walk.
He’s never been this cold for this long…He’s getting older, but 31 isn’t exactly ancient out there. I’m worried, man. Maybe he’s playing through something?
