  1. He’s a playmaker. He’s not a point guard.

Just like Draymond, Sabonis, Giannis, and any other big that has good court vision and can hook up his teammates

  2. Scottie’s pretty bad at running PnRs which is something an NBA point guard absolutely needs to be good at.

however, the guy we just hired as head coach is an expert on the subject. he’s literally written entire scholarly articles on the PnR. so I have hope he can teach Scottie a few things

  3. ppl dont seem to want scottie at point yet some are ok with fvv? fvv cant run an offence to save his life

  4. It’s a strength to be able to dribble as well as he does for his height and he’s a good playmaker but a point guard is more than that. Under pressure it gets ugly for him, PnRs he struggles which is surprising and in transition he looks okay.

We need someone to actually run the team through, this is part of the reason why position-less basketball or that silly “vision 6’9” wont work. You have to find the perfect player 5 times for different roles. Goes against the entire fundamentals of basketball lmao.

  5. Scottie @Masai rn for these ridiculous rumours that he wants to run it back with the same bum squad.
