According to HR, Nylander wore 92 at some point this season. Can anyone confirm this? No player has worn a number higher than 87 since Morozov in 2004 (excluding Vokoun in 13’) and I can only find pictures of Nylander with 19

Wonder if he wore 92 in a preseason game? I do not recall seeing him in 92 during the 9 games he played…
Reilly Smith wears #19 and has been given it based on senority.
It appears Alex will be changing his number to 92 for the upcoming season.
The Penguins’ website already reflects the change of Smith getting #19.
He wore 92 in Chicago but as far as I know he wore 19 for Pitt and WBS
#92 also because his Dad wore that # in his career.
Weird to exclude Vokoun like that.
Watched every game. He definitely did not.
He’s 92 currently because of a recent trade. But also – everyone knows you play better when your number is in the 90’s. It’s an intangible boost.
