[Highkin] The 5pm ET deadline has come and gone with no indication that the Blazers plan to pick up Kevin Knox II’s $3 million team option. Assume it was declined unless told otherwise.

  1. Getting rid of 3 mil in matching salary when we already lack matching salary is an interesting decision to say the least

  2. Damn, put the championship banners back into storage y’all the team is cooked

  3. Damn. Where are all the ‘Knox is a rotation piece’ mouthpieces at. ‘Could be the 7th man’ voices. Same people looking at Reddish like he’s something.

  4. I think if we were planning on doing a full youth movement we would have picked of Knox’s option and extended a QO to Reddish.

  5. He was considered a real talent 4 years ago. Now he’s borderline playing overseas. Good luck, K-Nox.

  6. I figured we’d keep him as salary filler but w/e doesn’t make a difference to me.

  7. So far off-season is playing out how I expected in regards to our free agents.

OUT: Reddish, Knox, [assuming Williams too]

    KEEP(?): Grant, Thybulle

Wait and see how trades / free agency goes: Eubanks, Winslow

  8. Knox is gonna be the first player signed to the Remix. It all makes sense now.

  9. Actually liked him better than reddish but if we’re counting on Knox for anything meaningful the seasons already toast. Reddish just has such a low motor also. I’m fine w moving on from both.
