  1. I’m not JC’s biggest fan in the subreddit, but him actually extending would still be pretty cool.

  2. If I understand correctly we could front load his contract to use up all of our cap space this year and then be more team friendly in future years. That way our extra cap space wouldn’t go to waste this year if we don’t make any other big moves.

  3. Happy for him, happy to have him.

I’m wonder what the plan will be for him going forward. He seems too expensive to keep on the bench, but his best role by far is a 6th man with a green light

  4. I don’t like this. We need Collin, who is basically Clarkson 2.0 to get minutes. Agbaji should be starting, Keyontae, and Brice should be getting minutes too

If it’s 12 million a year, cool, but if he’s getting more than 15 million a year, I’d be disappointed, as his minutes should be given to the rookie contract players, and Collin

  5. I might have to get me a JC jersey if he signs an extension to stay in Utah. I’ve held off on getting one because I was sure he’d leave or be traded multiple times now, but playing out a 3 year extension would make him a longer-tenured jazzman than Donovan, which is crazy to think about.

  6. JC actually likes it here. That makes me like him even more. Looking forward to keeping him around.
