Who?
The first 20 minutes was a lot of what we’ve already seen and heard talked about ad nauseum this offseason, but the bit at the end about Chip Kelly’s Power Spread and how teams like KC have been upping their 2/3 TE rate was interesting. It’s pretty similar to what Daboll was doing in Buffalo and now NY. We don’t exactly have the running QB to do a lot of those spread em out QB option runs that make teams like Philly and Buffalo so tough to get off the field, but Stevenson and (fingers crossed) Strong have upside there.
They asked what our best 5 man group is. It’s probably Stevenson-Henry-Gesicki-Juju with a 2nd receiver as determined by matchup/camp, or Stevenson-Juju-Parker-WR3- and Henry/Gesicki rotating into the TE spot. Ty/Strong will hopefully provide a changeup, and I still think Firkser should make the team as a guy moving around as an inline blocker, blocking HB, and slot option on power looks.
