  5. These are the games that make me thig we’re starting to put things back together.

    Get an early lead, lose the early lead, offense scrapes back and gets the lead again, bullpen shuts it the fuck down.

    They’re really trying to make me hope again.

  20. The Rangers moved Jon Gray back a game just so he could start against the Astros. It backfired.

  22. Easily one of the best wins of the year! Good showing from Blanco, and then the bullpen shut it down! Nobody was overly taxed on the back end of this one, so everyone is available if needed tomorrow. Go ‘Stros! FTR

  24. Blanco, the most elite of pitchers. Those 2 back to back homers were all part of his master plan!

  28. Probably a top 3 all around complete game we’ve played all year. Timely AB’s, good starting pitching, great defense, productive small ball, and shut down bullpen play. Love to see it!

  30. Blanco kept us in the game and the bullpen only allowed 1 hit with zero walks en route to 4 shutout innings. That’s what I love to see. Huge to pull out the first win of the series, when on paper this was going to be the more lopsided pitching matchups of the four.

  31. Love winning the first game in a series. You can watch the rest of the series knowing you aren’t getting swept.

    That said, win them all Astros!

  33. A win with Blanco on the mound is all the Astros could have asked. What a way to start a series. Lets go!
