Like I understand it’s Day 1 of UFA season but oh lord when the only thingnyou have to show for it is Ryan Reaves, then there is something really wrong here. This isn’t running it back this is rebuilding without calling it a rebuild
Dubas just signed Ryan Graves as well 6yrs 4.5mil FFS!!!

And its partly due to the clown laughing at getting fed his lunch money in this pic
And Dubas is actually making the Pens better while everyone on the Leafs are asleep.
Most of these guys are not concerned with winning at all. Always remember that. Winning is just a fun coincidence for most of them. It’s always about the cash. We’re the suckers.
Very underwhelming moves so far
That picture kind of perfectly shows the approach Marner has vs a guy like Tkachuk. MT was no smiles all business anything you have to do to win. Such different approaches.
Today has been a disaster.
I still do think Treliving will make a splash with a big signing or two (Bertuzzi, Domi).

Everyone in here wanted big changes this off season, as soon as it starts big changes happen and everyone’s pissed off lol
ROR and Acciari leaving for totally manageable salaries, which implies they just didn’t want to be here (for whatever reason), is saddening.
Ugh welcome back to 2010 eara of Leafs hockey
Id love to know the factors that led to ROR not wanting to sign here. Perhaps not quite ready to be relegated to 3C? Hmmm
