Knack was 92-98 in 2020 and 2021 before various injuries last year and he was 89-91 at the end of the year last year. It *sounded* like his velo was back up at least close to healthy knack levels. I haven’t checked every AAA log he’s hat on savant but the velo has seemed to be consistently 88-92t93. So not great at all. Curious to see if they try to simply put him in the pen and try and max out what velo he has. Him and Gus Varland**** in AAA could theoretically be useful pen options down the line.
Nelson has topped out at 94? 93.7? I believe since he’s come back and pitched in AAA so far. Sat 93.8 in 2021 out of the pen before Tommy John and Flexor Tendon surgery. Not ideal.
