I’m not mad. I’m just disappointed.
Twins score 4 runs, and probably win this game, if Mullins doesn’t make a crazy catch on Buxton’s hit in the 1st, and if Castro’s double in the 5th goes over the fence instead of hitting the top of it.
Now, I’m not saying the Twins bats were good today, cause the last 4 innings they were really bad, but they should have had a lot more than 1 runs given their quality of contact.
Also, something that has been happening a TON against Twins pitching, Baltimore got more than half of their hits all right in a row, only one of which was hit hard.
Again not saying the Twins couldn’t play better, but it’s ok to admit bad luck exists.
So offense took accountability but they’re still terrible, now what?
Wont judge them too harshly for Irvin. Lots of hard contact.
Will absolutely judge them for doing NOTHING against the relievers again.

Last two games have looked like same shit different day for the offense but the early hard contact shouldn’t be completely disregarded.

Duran ruined my birthday
Offense is still broken. At this point probably time to realize they as a unit are just not going to get better. Correa will probably get better but Lewis on the IL probably cancels that out.
This is a 79-81 win team at best. The pitching can’t throw shutouts most nights.

Regressed to the mean after game 1. We’re averaging 3-4 runs per game. That is what we got in the series.
3 games since the players only meeting. They came out with 8 in the first game, but went on to score just 2 runs in the last 2. If the offense doesn’t step up consistantly this is going to be a long damn second half.
