  1. Twins score 4 runs, and probably win this game, if Mullins doesn’t make a crazy catch on Buxton’s hit in the 1st, and if Castro’s double in the 5th goes over the fence instead of hitting the top of it.

Now, I’m not saying the Twins bats were good today, cause the last 4 innings they were really bad, but they should have had a lot more than 1 runs given their quality of contact.

Also, something that has been happening a TON against Twins pitching, Baltimore got more than half of their hits all right in a row, only one of which was hit hard.

Again not saying the Twins couldn’t play better, but it’s ok to admit bad luck exists.

  2. Wont judge them too harshly for Irvin. Lots of hard contact.

Will absolutely judge them for doing NOTHING against the relievers again.

Genuinely what is changing? It has been months

  3. Frustrating way to end but still very encouraging to get the series win against a very good team following the Atlanta series

  4. Damn, I thought our strategy of never letting the opposing team score ever again was foolproof. I guess the pitching staff still needs to figure some things out.

    /s

  5. That sucked but you can’t score 1 run in back to back games and expect to win both

  6. Bummer to lose like that, but you tip your cap to a team getting runs off Duran.

Hitters still struggling though. Baltimore has decent pitching but we made them look great.

  7. PSA: sweeps are hard.

Last two games have looked like same shit different day for the offense but the early hard contact shouldn’t be completely disregarded.

At the end of the day, it’s a road trip with an absolute stinker sandwiched between two series wins… and life goes on.

  8. Duran implodes (it happens) offense stung some balls early (BABIP luck sucks) Miranda still terrible. Did I miss anything?

  9. Yeah Sonny’s as good as gone. My fucking lord Rocco, third time in a row this happens still doesn’t give you a clue?

  10. I wish they would have let the erratic Bautista throw strikes.. I think they would’ve had a better chance to plate one that inning

  11. Are games starting earlier on Sundays? I just turned the tv on to watch and the game is already over.

  12. I just don’t understand how such an incredibly fucking sexy group of men can be so bad at scoring runs!

  13. 10 runs is a series just isn’t going to get it done. Idk what can be done outside of major organizational changes to save this team.

  14. Offense is still broken. At this point probably time to realize they as a unit are just not going to get better. Correa will probably get better but Lewis on the IL probably cancels that out.

This is a 79-81 win team at best. The pitching can’t throw shutouts most nights.

  15. Different ballgame if slugger Willi Castro did one more arm curl last weights session.

  16. I guess this team needs a “Come to Jesus” talk after every game? Or did they stop the player led hitting meeting after it seemingly worked?

  17. Regressed to the mean after game 1. We’re averaging 3-4 runs per game. That is what we got in the series.

  18. 3 games since the players only meeting. They came out with 8 in the first game, but went on to score just 2 runs in the last 2. If the offense doesn’t step up consistantly this is going to be a long damn second half.
