76ers incompetence led to Raptors signing Jalen McDaniels for cheap

Contributing to Philly’s downfall is definitely a huge bonus to this signing.
76ers are having a rough FA, Niang out, Milton out, McDaniels out. Harden has them tied up. Maybe they’re in the Dame sweepstakes.

Sixers lowkey lost a lot of depth this offseason. Harden leaving on top of that is gonna make their future quite rough

Adding McDaniels is definitely a win, as is stealing a guy from the Sixers for nothing, just wanted to clarify the Thybulle and a pick thing…
They gave up Thybulle and the 34th pick (hornets second) and got back Jalen, the Knicks 2024 second, and Portland’s 2029 second.
Definitely a downgrade pick wise, because the Knicks pick will probably be late 40s, but Portland’s 2029 second could actually be good.
This is why friends don’t let friends tank for draft picks.

Sixers are fucked. Harden doesn’t wanna be there, Embiid is gonna be asking out soon. They have no chips to trade with. They have no package for Dame that doesn’t gut their team as well.

The losses won’t affect the Sixers much, they don’t need a bench, Nurse will never play them.
