  1. Oh. Dang. Maybe they need some good ole taxpayer money to get these things fixed. You know. Job creation and all.

  2. I was just talking about this to my father. Next time you go to the park, check out the amount of rust taking over. You’d think there would be some yearly preventative maintenance but nope. I’d say Comerica Park has only 10 years left of life if this continues.

  3. Is the carousel still broken? Took my daughter there for her first game on June 14th and was bummed that it was down. Was going to go back on the Kid’s Club day on the 25th where there was supposed to be unlimited rides for members, but glad I didn’t if the damn thing is still broken.

  4. Love Comerica Park and loved Tiger Stadium, but I hope the next iteration of the home field gives me a retractable roof.

  5. That’s actually really sad if it’s only 20 years old and we’re already talking about a new park. 40? Yeah, I guess. But 20?

  6. I make a motion to replace Comerica with an updated model with Tiger Stadium like features with an upper deck that isn’t 3/4 of a mile away from the field.

  7. This place is 23 years old so I expect it to start showing it’s age a bit. It’s not as fun going to a game there as it was 10 years ago. There’s like no life to the stadium or when you walk around.
