  1. – By signing the contract the way he did, AE is telling a “largely irrelevant franchise with a history of dysfunction” to let him carry the franchise on his shoulders

    – Ant had had conversations with his business partner early into his career about the team rep and the fact that people left Minnesota quickly and were never able to bring success. But it feels like home to him

    – Ant wants to be legendary and cement himself as the guy that turned the Wolves around according to his business partner

    – Whilst his play speaks for himself. His personality has shown the Wolves that Ant is ready for this money. Ant doesnt shrink. He lives for the big moments

    – Ant knows that money and endorsements wont change shit in Minnesota. That isnt what breeds winning. And he wants to WIN

    – Whilst initially he would defer leadership to KAT and Dlo because of their previous all star status, he is now showing himself to be a true leader becoming more vocal and demanding excellence from the team – especially in the playoffs this season

    – Again, the plan is to keep the team together for this year

    – Edwards trusts Finch and for the first time since 2012-2013 (other than the Thibs double responsibility) the Wolves have the same GM and coach for 2 years

    – Edwards signed with Bill Duffy in part to grow his business ventures

  2. Uggh, this is so sad. We deserve to be a laughing stock.

    >If you remove Tom Thibodeau’s two years of being both coach and team president, this is the first time the Wolves will have the same lead executive and head coach for consecutive seasons since David Kahn and Rick Adelman in 2011-12 and 2012-13.

  3. Now, I just really want to sign Jaden to a 5/125 or > deal. Then this was as good an off-season as we could’ve hoped for, assuming we truly are “running it back.”

  4. I am looking at Ant to take a step up and lead the energy of the team. He should be the one out there dominating detroit on a random tuesday in January. Definitely has it in him. So excited to see how he follows up that stellar playoff performance.

  5. This is all I need.

´´Ant wants to be legendary and cement himself as the guy that turned the Wolves around according to his business partner´´

  6. I can totally see Ant relishing the challenge of bringing the cursed Timberwolves their first championship and turning the franchise around. A few years ago, he also said he doesn’t like and wouldn’t want to play for a superteam :’)
