  2. Knew it, no Amaya. What a joke. He must really suck at calling a game because otherwise that just means Ross is beyond incompetent, which I don’t fully believe.

  3. Barnhart catching for not Stroman, Amaya sitting, and Suzuki hitting 3rd when he has a .686 OPS vs RHPs. Awesome stuff, Rossy!

  4. Morel at 3rd and Young at 1st. I like it. I want to see a lot more of that the rest of the season.

    I wonder if it’s worth trying to trade Gomes for something or Barnhart for a bucket of balls to try to free up more playing time for Amaya.

  8. Anyone see the ump score card from last yesterday’s game? Surprised he graded out so well. Makes it odd that the few calls he missed were particularly egregious. Then again, every time this ump is calling a game I’m watching, he’s getting yelled at by everyone on the field. He seems to enjoy pissing managers and players off more than usual. The two strike punch out on Dans makes it seem that way.

  11. If there’s anyone i trust right now to pitch this game it’s steele. Our lineup is pretty good considering the matchup. I really hope suzy can get on a hot streak here–i really do like the guy
