My biggest question is going to be how the starting CBs look to start the season.
I’m really high on JPJ, and think he can be a day one starter. But will Levi Wallace really not be starting? He’s absolutely a high caliber CB2 level player. Will Pat Pete be playing the slot? Hes never played there in his career.
Really interested to see how that’s gonna play out.
People saw that 1 dude report from OTAs that there was a competition for the RT spot and absolutely ran with it. The issue with that is that Moore said himself he was only taking a few snaps at practice at RT so he can get comfortable at the position and play a swing tackle role. Which, if he loses the starting LT spot is what will most likely happen but honestly him losing the LT isn’t really even a guarantee. There is definitely a possibility that he competes with Chuks for the RT spot next year but I don’t think it’s going to happen this year.
Sort of a hot take, but I think Najee could be fighting for his job early. If he’s not producing within the first few games and Jaylen Warren comes out strong, I think we could see the end of Najee as a Steeler not far into the season
