No love for Pickett. What do you think?

No love for Pickett. What do you think?

  1. It’s fair. He had an average rookie year at best behind a below average O-line.

  2. Fair.

He hasn’t done enough to earn praise in the public spotlight. Let’s hope he makes a name for himself this year.

  3. I wasn’t high on Pickett when he was drafted. But after listening to Kurt Warner do a film breakdown and seeing those “traits” Warner talked about play out at the end of the season I became a believer.

That said, if I’m not a fan? Or don’t watch the Steelers? I would think he’s a bust.

I expect a big jump, but don’t hold it against people who are skeptical, especially if they aren’t fans of the team.

  4. I think it was a fair assessment. He hasn’t done anything yet but could jump to a 3-4 tier is essentially what was said. He showed improvement as the season went on. He hasn’t performed at the tier 1-3 level yet
    but could get there.

  5. I actually am happy with Picketts *perceved* low ranking. I am nervous that the pressure to deliver will ruin him if the offense under performs.

  6. Wouldn’t take it too seriously considering there are some… *interesting* takes in this:

Fields, Watson, Wilson, and Jones are above:

Dak, Goff, Cousins, Geno, and Tannehill

I think the Lawrence hype is excessive but if you were high on him you could put him in tier 2.

Stafford’s arm may be completely shot for all we know.

I have no idea how Watson was rated that high after last year’s generally terrible showing.

  7. I get it, Im a pickett truther and can’t wait to see his growth but for what we have now I understand. I love the super low expectations for the steelers this year, lets come out angry and shock the public perception!

  8. No love? He needs to do something outstanding to get some love. He was a rook with an average to below-average year behind an O-line that was not on anyone’s radar. The good thing is that he showed progress; hopefully, this will carry into the current season. Let’s see how things play out before jumping to anything rash. Else, we devolve into the Browns, Jags, and Jets of the last 10 years.

  9. Kenny didn’t put up the numbers to get the national medias respect. I think he is better than those numbers and passes the eye test. But time will tell. Especially now that teams have tape on him.

  10. Underpromise. Over deliver.

Sounded like he has been locked in this offseason. He’s gonna cook.
