  4. I really like his game. He’s the do-it-all wing who, while maybe not the focal point of any one lineup, can be a solid contributor to just about any group you put him on the floor with.

  5. Simple, get better. He has the physical build and tools necessary with staff and facilities to make it happen. Show them you’re capable and crack the rotation beyond garbage time.

    I’m a believer in this kid so I think he will get some shine this year especially early on. He just needs to stay hungry and on his grind and he will do big things.

    However, I still think relying on a 20 year old 2nd year player to be your season long backup SG on a contender is a ton of pressure. Maybe too much pressure. I would be looking for a vet SG on the market incase things don’t work as intended with Max.

  12. I love how fans are no longer trying to force stars outta prospects and instead being fine with them being solid rotational pieces and letting it happen naturally like with Austin Reaves.

  15. summer league got everyone too hyped..i think we should still reserve our expectations

  18. If Austin Reaves continues his form from playoffs, and Max Christie takes a similar next step performance wise + healthy AD/LBJ will go to WCF just with that.

  20. He’s going to take a THT/Austin Reaves leap this year.

    Castleton will take over Max role from last year.
