I loved Wade. He’s got a tombstone in my Broken Hearts Graveyard with all the other good players we’ve lost whom I loved.
Wade gave me one of my best Reds memories ever. But he is now the enemy. Sorry old friend.

The last time I saw him pitch for the Reds he gave up 6 runs in three innings on 8 hits and was pulled. I went to that game and it was like a farewell to him on my part because I was glad when they brought in a reliever. It was also Friedl’s first career home run game. September ’21 vs LAD.
I’d like us to shell him in a respectable way. Doubles for the Wade innings. Dingers for the relievers. It’ll be like old times but not actually
