Considering I listened to ESPN tell me how good of an “agent” Rick Paul was right in the middle of this game it doesn’t surprise me at all.
The stark difference in the SLC summer league commentating and the ESPN coverage of the Vegas summer league was tremendous. I mean don’t get me wrong our guys are certainly not perfect, and I love Doris Burke, but come on at least learn who’s on the roster. They never once mentioned Hendricks, Sensabaugh, and Samanic being out, or the fact that Vernon Carey was just waived. These seem like major talking points considering the drastic change in our starting lineup that could have occurred. They called Keyonte our only first round draft pick. And when the game ended Doris asked the other guy (sorry don’t know his name) about Keyonte scoring the most summer league points for the jazz since whom, he responded with hmm I don’t know. It’s Donovan. Literally the easiest guess.
I did really enjoy the Kessler and Reggie Jackson interviews, though. They weren’t all bad. I’m just venting about how no one outside of Utah knows anything about the Jazz.
