I have been ever so slightly concerned with Davis lately although I think it’s mostly pitchers adjusting + tough luck + bad offense being contagious. Seeing him walk twice today in spite of the mess of an umpire is pretty encouraging. His walk rate had been super low compared to what it was in the minors. Him being more patient and selective at the plate is what got him this far and is a major strength of his. I see today as a step in the right direction headed into the break. I bet he comes back fairly strong next weekend.
