Monster game from Jabari. Wouldn’t be surprised if he has a big second year leap incoming.

  1. All the people overreacting to his first half against Portland in shambles rn

  2. Despite?

Whatever you think of those contracts, this team needed vets and those guys will absolutely make the team better

  3. Jabari was amazing today, dude was great on both ends of the floor and scoring on all three levels

  4. to your comment, FVV and Brooks will help bari, not hurt him. FVV is a better point guard than any we’ve had since harden, and brooks will help him defensively a lot

  5. Obviously the shooting was there in college, but the handles and shot creation that he (and Tari) showcased today was a big leap. He looked really comfortable handling the ball and made some nice passes.

  6. One of the best things is when a 2nd player is so clearly too kid for summer league. 2016 devin booker was awesome

  7. He’s really shown flashes of everything in summer league so far. Shooting, finishing, Boxing out, perimeter defense, rim protection, iso scoring, playmaking.

Pretty much exactly what you want to see from a second year top 3 pick playing against G-Leaguers.

Primed to make a big jump this year and be a solid contributor for the Rockets.

  8. I’m happy for the guy because the amount of shit he got was just unnecessary. A rookie on the worst possible fit with no coaching was naturally going to struggle, people just made up their mind on his career after one years
    .

  9. If he can shoot 37% or better from 3 this year rockets can be pretty darn good and versatile

Small ball lineup of FVV, amen, brooks, Tari, and Bari is about as good defensively as you could ask (assuming amen is as advertised). If FVV, Tari and Bari can be average shooters will be fun

  10. People forget Jabari ended last season on quite a high note and was really coming into his own post-All Star break. I see this as he picking up where he left off, and the self-creation displays are extremely fun to watch and very important too.

  11. The rockets are gonna be so interesting this year. Jabari, Amen, Whitmore, even Jalen Green with FVV to lead them. Just hope Brooks isn’t detrimental to them the way he was to the Grizz

  12. Jabari fuckin cooked the Pistons. Nice to see him being aggressive and create for himself

  13. But I thought he was already a bust based on a rookie season under the worst coach in the NBA?
