  1. Is he good? Kinda felt like they’d go College pitching so they’d be 2-4 years.out….

  2. A 32nd overall pick could basically have any outcome, I feel like, so here’s hoping he’s good. Or tradable.

  3. The year is 2029. Colin Houck is batting .782 in triple A with 43 home runs. Billy eppler refuses to call him up and gives a 36 year old Daniel vogelbach another week at DH even though he’s batting .114 with -3 home runs.

  4. They’ll have to overslot here, but nice to get a highly touted prep bat to fall to us.

Still fucking pissed Hurston Waldrep fell to the Barves.

  5. As someone who has been scouting him for 12 minutes…

    -plus power, twitch

    -rocket, laser arm

    -6 tools

    -an xUNLV+ of 1.763

-high ceiling, low floor, brick fireplace, copper plumbing

    -great frame

-player comparisons: Babe Ruth, Vince Coleman & Jorge Toca

  6. I’m guessing there’s some projection that scouts are doing that makes him ranked so high? I can’t act like I know more than scouts but his limited NCAA and summer league numbers weren’t great so I’m surprised he didn’t drop. He did hit .487 in his senior year of high school though and hit .400+ as a sophomore and junior.

  7. Looks great value getting him at that pick. But, the question now is will they get the signing done.
