  1. We really doing this?
First game: He's a bust omg
Second game: Dunking on everyone who called him a bust omg
Dang I had hope for the future when I was a kid.

  2. People really need to check the hype train. I have never seen anyone say he doesn't have all the talent in the world. The knock has always been that he is too thin and lacks the muscle mass and weight to not get thrown around and potentially injured by the average NBA level player, where he'll be consistently 40-50lbs lighter than his competition. And nothing in this game showed that wasn't the case. He wasn't even facing rotation level bigs in this game, so he should have gone off.

The kid was never going to be a bust after 1 bad game any more than he was going to be the second coming after a single game where he did no more than should have been expected of him. We likely won't have any idea of how good the kid is going to be until halfway through his second contract. At that point, he should have added the weight/muscle and we'll have signs either way of if his body is breaking down on him. Yao Ming basically came in with an NBA ready body, but even he broke down quickly and he had the best career of all players in that size range.

  4. For all the accolades he's getting, he didn't impact this game. They still lost. The media and everyone needs to shut up and let him develop in his own pace. He's pretty developed already, considering he played in the grown men league, but all this pressure is getting to him. Now he'll have to learn that a team is being built around him, unlike in Europe where everyone is equal as a team, no one is considered a superstar.

  5. Wemby can seriously have 10 block games easy his height and how agile he is he’s blocking those shots that only players can contest even with good defense plus when he’s in the paint that’s easy money…I wouldn’t be surprised if he has some great games with the right amount of minutes he will get some quadruple double games in the league, wish him nothing but the best he will be fun to watch
