Hopkins is waiting on a Chris Jones extension so he can wait for the Chiefs to offer a better deal

1. Feels like our name is being used as leverage to drive up the price for other teams. Anyways, we got receivers, I believe since the draft the Chiefs organization is dead set on a developing a young WR core around Toney, Moore, Rice, and hopefully Justyn Ross.

2. I’m sorry DHop, you’re banking on them even OFFERING a contract, let alone the money you want. That’s a bold gamble DHop, let’s see how it plays out for you.

3. Hopkins is only searching for a bag (I don’t blame or judge) but for that reason alone I don’t want him on the team

4. I like our WR core. Whether we get him or not I’m just ready for the DHop saga to be over.

5. I think it was IG that I saw someone posted a video where they thought after the Jones extension KC could lock up Sneed _instead_ of going after DHop.

   I think I’d rather have Sneed long term than DHop, but I could be persuaded otherwise.

6. I’d rather keep the CAP carryover, we are winning the SB without this guy. Chiefs should sign Suh after training camp for cheap. He can be a stopgap at NT.

7. we need jones more then Hopkins we dont need Hopkins at all to be good

8. I been saying this…it makes the most sense he wants to play with a contender and KC in the process of extending Jones..why would he take a deal before he can see what a real contender offers?

10. He’s also stalling because he doesn’t want to do camp. Since OBJ you will see this more frequently with big name FA’s. Hold out until August get the bag and then report.
