  1. Nah

None of these guys are good enough to take minutes from Lively. Holmes/Powell are our best bet unless we are able to move a THJ package for a starting level center.

  2. I have no idea really about some of these guys last contracts, but any of these guys worth the MLE that might be able to help us while Lively is developing?

  3. Kyrie Irving / Meyers Leonard Pick & Roll about to be a PROBLEM

    *for the PR department*

  4. I rly like Bismack he’s a good defensive center but mavs don’t seem to be interested

  5. I might take a flier on Yurtseven especially if we could get him on a 2-way. He had a very good stretch of games in his rookie season showing some serious upside.

  6. A number of these guys I didn’t know were still playing. And I don’t mean that I didn’t know they were in the league. Like I figured that they were out of basketball and substitute teaching somewhere as they worked on becoming a middle school coach somewhere.

  7. Pass on all that. I don’t see any of that better than what we have. I would rather have a center by committee and give lively some time in the spot. I honestly don’t feel like we have to have a center to win. Warriors haven’t for years. It’s a nice to have but nobody we can get are going to stop the top centers we will face in the playoffs.

  8. Noel could be the best look here. Can’t count on lively lmao no one has seen him play

  9. Biyombo looked good on the Suns with limited minutes, but would probably be a repeat of Mcgee situation.

  10. I’m the biggest Blake Griffin fan ever. If he has something left, sign him. He isn’t a center though.

  11. As a Brooklyn fan in the same boat, holy shit this is grim, I feel like it’s Major League and the new owner just passed the roster sheets outs…”most these guys are way passed their prime… shit, some of these guys never had a prime.”

  12. If we’re going to add another center, it should only be one who is clearly head-and-shoulders above Holmes and Powell. Another platoon-level guy would just rob development minutes from Lively.

To be specific, the full and complete list of centers who even might possibly be worth it is below, alphabetically:

Adams, Adebayo, Allen, Ayton, Capela, Carter Jr, Claxton, Z. Collins, Davis, Drummond, Duren, Embiid, Gafford, Giannis, Gobert, Holmgren, Horford, JJJ, Jokic, Kessler, Looney, (Brook) Lopez, Nurkic, Okongwu, Plumlee, Poeltl, Portis Jr, Porzingis, Reid, Robinson, Sabonis, Sengun, Turner, Valanciunas, Vucevic, Wemby, (Mike) Williams, (Robert) Williams III, Zubac

That’s it. Any post that lists center options besides these guys should be ignored.

  13. Harry Giles was supposed to be SO good back in the day and then his knees kept exploding.

Funny to see him on the list.

Wouldn’t mind someone like Gibson or Serge who are great vets to have in the locker room and can play if you absolutely need bodies.
