[Woike] One thing that’s not in here (his linked article) is how excited some people inside the Lakers are about Cam Reddish. Reddish played great in a 2021 playoff series against the Bucks, where Ham was an assistant at the time

  1. I love camp battles and depth. Idk where the hell he’ll get minutes when everyone is healthy, but 82 games is a long time. He’ll get his opportunities.

  2. It’s always exciting to bring in a “we can fix him” project. It’s exciting for the fans too.

If Phil Handyman can’t fix him, no one can.

  3. Man has all the athleticism in the world but unless he gains some hoops IQ he’ll be a bum forever

  4. It makes sense for them to be excited, but that still doesn’t mean we can expect anything out of him. But playing spot up opposite LeBron always brings the most out of guys.

  5. People are dragging me for having faith in this kid he not even 24 I still think he got a solid carter ahead of him

  6. If Reddish’s main problem is IQ then being on the floor with LeBron wil fix that really quickly. He will produce but who knows if he will be a playoff performer type. I can tell you the risk is very low though.

  7. He never gonna be a playmaker because his on court iq too low. He should focus on spots up and defense.

  8. This one of the best problems u can have cause its positive. If theyll run with AD at the 4, Hayes or another big at the 5. Lebron at the 3 then… Rui, Vando and Prince are gonna play together?

  9. That explains why he is on the team.

Who gets minutes early in the season between him and Prince will tell us a lot.

  10. I never realized how bad his FG% was in college(33%) and the pros for that matter (40%)

I didn’t follow him closely in the draft I just knew he was a highly touted high school recruit. Pretty shocking to see a top 10 pick shoot 33% no matter how you spin it. Especially coming from a stacked Duke team where I’m sure he had many easy looks.
