In fact, tied for the fourth-worst ASG break winning percentage since the expansion era started more than 60 years ago.
Bernie goes on to note that because of the extension, DeWitt won’t put the crowbar in DeWallet to fire Mo. And, he adds that Mo firing Marmol would be admitting he’s an idiot on managerial hires.
So, it doesn’t matter what Mozeliak told Kilcoyne (which isn’t up yet on the Fox-2 website). He’s staying.

How is firing Oli an admission he’s an idiot? He’s fired managers before. Both Matheny and Shildt were fired. When teams underperform, firing the manager is not uncommon, even if it’s not necessarily the managers fault. Sometimes you just gotta make changes because the current course isn’t working.
