  1. I’m excited for me, but I’m not excited for them since apparently they didn’t want this? Right?

  2. Hopefully we can figure out some way to be prickly and make the NFL less prone to forcing teams into it for next time.

  3. Feel bad that they didn’t want this, but it is going to get the hype train going full steam ahead so quickly. I am pumped.

  4. It sucks because the team openly campaigned to have them pick someone else, and in what is our most promising season in decades we want as few distractions as possible.

As a fan I’m excited to watch though

  5. Better that they got chosen for the training camp version of Hard Knocks as opposed to the in season version.

  6. This is typical Jets and so frustrating.

The one time we have something tangible to push for we get a distraction during camp.

We have One Jets Drive for training camp content. Jet fans don’t *need* hard knocks

And before someone calls me a doomer – Coach Saleh didn’t want this either.

  7. Was always going to be us, no body would of watched the Bears or Commanders. Disappointing but I’ll be watching every damn episode!

  8. Just End The Season. Hard knocks curse will have us out of the race by week 6.

  9. obviously lmao. the bitching and moaning coming out of 1JD was getting crazy for a team that hasn’t been to the playoffs in over a decade… i’m all for the “no distractions” stuff, but i’d like to have a team headstrong enough to not be thrown off by a camera crew lol

  10. I die a little inside when people on here say there were too young to remember the Sexy Rexy hard knocks year. The series has fizzled since then but exciting to see.

  11. I hope Steve Weatherford visits and brings everybody one of those jerk off exercise weights.

  12. Wasn’t it supposed to be someone else for awhile? Then NFL saw the Rodgers trade happen and changed their minds? Could’ve sworn I saw it was supposed to be someone like the Titans or something then the trade happened and NFL pulled that back…

  13. Between this and the forthcoming Barbenheimer double feature, lots to look forward to, boys and girls

  14. What I want to know is will 1 Jets Drive still be filmed this season? It’ll be pretty cool to have all this Jets content for a season that should be spectacular

  15. Zach is about to get ripped apart and he’s not even the starter anymore.

  16. May be an unpopular opinion but I really enjoy the production of Hard Knocks and this will be must see TV

  17. Well damn. I mean the stars were aligning for it, I just hoped that they wouldn’t.

  18. IDGAF that the team doesn’t want to do it, I’m excited as hell. Hard Knocks >>> 1JD, even if the former isn’t as good as it used to be. And by “used to be” we mean Sexy Rexy and the GOAT Hard Knocks season. Well guess what we’ve got another sexy charismatic HC, and a bunch of young dawgs, and the high-flying shaman himself A-Rod. This is gonna be a great TV series.

  19. Down voting me because he was objectively one of the worst running backs in the league last year is pure fandom. He’s a fun likeable guy sure, but he was awful last year

  20. Ah that sucks, really didn’t want them forced into it. The less distractions the better, just wanted us to focus on football lol

  21. I don’t watch the show, so I’ll ask here. Has any team ever made it to the Super Bowl on hard knocks?

  22. Think it’s mostly overblown how much of a distraction it is tbh, I’ll have fun with it at least

  23. I mean the Jets will be very entertaining.

I just think the team is way too talented to have to do Hard Knocks.
