One thing minor league baseball does right is the theme nights. Some of these themes (*cough* Star Wars) have been done over and over. Would be cool to see fresh ideas like a ā90s theme night, Marvel night, etc etc
Iām really glad they Canes are still doing theme nights. Fuck the NHL and their shortsightedness
Glad to see we’re still doing a Pride Night (and a very purposeful choice of game)
I know we’re dunking on Florida, but not everyone on the ice wearing a Canes sweater that night will have rainbow tape on their stick. I think the pre-game jerseys were great. But it would’ve continued to become a league-wide PR issue. I wish people wouldn’t have opted out of wearing a pride jersey, but forcing something onto them goes against my belief that everyone has freedom of choice.
Thanks for this! I hope they wear the old whalers home sweaters, in white, this year.
