The Houston Rockets defeated the Golden State Warriors, 118-101 and improve to 4-0 in Summer League action. Cam Whitmore led Houston with 26 points and 5 rebounds as Trevor Hudgins added 23 points and 11 assists for Houston, who shot 20-49 from beyond the arc. Kendric Davis led the Warriors with 18 points as Reggie Perry added 17 points and 8 rebounds. The Warriors fall to 0-4.

  7. notes: TJD lookin great in his first SL minutes. This guys gonna be a menace in the pick and roll. Needs to work on defense and screening and develop some kind of jump shot(even at 35% it doesnā€™t have to be pretty) great feel for rolling to the rim.
    Podz: is getting his confidence still needs to get a bulk of minutes in Santa Cruz and 4th quarter preseason minutes this year to get a grasp of the system and grow into being a Warrior. His 3 point stroke looks nice tho and you can see he has some game around the rim and some floaters heā€™s gonna be working on.

    Quinones needs to get on that two way contract asap every game solidifies that heā€™s taking steps and the next one for him is to get that 2 way contract and start balling pros when guys are hurt or rested. Next year he will get a bag like Jerome did if he does. I expect heā€™ll be in Santa Cruz still as well but itā€™s time for him to be awarded that two way spot. As heā€™s maturing you can tell the game is slowing down for him and heā€™s starting to excel, definitely needs work on defense end but he can score now confidently and consistently

    Gui Santos another needs to be on a two way so he can get pro minutes as well. He needs to work on in game awareness a bit and defense but heā€™s ready for some pro time as well as Santa Cruz time to start to push his development. Barring something crazy happening I think next year will be his ā€œQuinonesā€ type year where he can show up a more developed all around game so 1 more two way year and be ready to get some guaranteed money with a solid roster spot

  11. It looks like those player in warriors team have this idea that they have to shoot 3s in order to win games. It's a very bad sign on how warriors gonna build their way years to come.

  19. Iā€™m only here for tdj, Ik itā€™s just summer league but these are g league players and bpodz canā€™t even handle them. They should have got cam whittmore someone who can contribute now. Gs does not need another project we already saw how that turned out. All traded away.

  29. Can't question why Kerr doesn't play rookies lol. But then again Houston has several first round picks playing, GS had one late 1st round and one late 2nd round along with the G league.
